Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa released his first fruits as 22 men were ordained by his Ghanaian spiritual father, Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng at their first UFIC Pastors' Certificate and Ordination ceremony held in Chitungwiza last weekend. Among the 22 were Prophet Makandiwa's brothers, Pastor Tawanda and Pastor Romilus Makandiwa.
The colourful graduation ceremony was graced by pastors, musicians and government ministers and Makandiwa opened up about his spiritual father, Prophet Boateng.
"Aeroplanes failed to get fitted a radar leading them to be controlled by one they have to communicate with one on the ground. They cannot land without the communication and that is exactly what made my day after I was able to listen to one voice, that of my spiritual father with us today. I remained focused after being called names and my father, my Papa in terms of money, blessings and advice.
"He is the father of my life, the man behind my presents in this ministry and I thank him much about that. He has been too much upon this ministry and may he today continue to bless and extend this to his grand children of United Family International Church members. Papa bless them to be house owners, for them to drive their own cars for if God blesses them they will never go down because these people are for this ministry and are here to stay," said Makandiwa.
The 3-day miracle baby's godfather thanked UFIC members for standing with him in times of opposition which he described as based on unity.
"UFIC is known for unity that saved us from the bad publicity e received from circular newspapers. As they wrote more bad about us, the family stood its ground in unity and we never experienced divisions among the family members, we remained united. The bad publicity managed to cut the cost of marketing ourselves and today I thank my Papa as we ordain these men to do more miracles and the media were so generous to market us.
"Today we are ordaining men and very soon we will be ordaining women as well to the work of the ministry and I would like to thank them for their total submission and loyalty. These are our first fruits of the ministry that started in August 2008 from a lunch hour fellowship at Anglican Cathedral along Nelson Mandela Avenue. I thank every UFI member for turning a deaf ear to people and paying attention to God and today we are celebrating at this occasion," said Zimbabwe's most celebrated and most popular and most influential pastor.
