MDC-T Oxford will in November this year bring to the UK some top party officials, in a move meant to comprehend the prevailing political situation after the unexpected loss in the recently ended elections, The ZimDiaspora has established.
Organisers of the trip said MPThabitha Khumalo and party Spokesperson, Douglas Mwonzora were expected to arrive in Britain on November 2, 2013.
“We are working hard trying to bring some of our leaders here. I cannot say whats the agenda is, but I can tell you it’s a very wide agenda,” said Sithole, who is part of the organising team headed by Natalia Randen (Treasurer) and also includes Cerina-lee Mashiringwane.
MDC-T Oxford branch remains one of the only three vibrant branches in the UK and by bringing the party leadership seeks to rejuvenate the party’s fading fortunes.
There are burning questions over the missing £57 000.00 and the way in which the party has dismally lost the just ended general elections in Zimbabwe. Exiled party members want leadership guidance to forge the way forward.
